           Our College

          The Government College, Kinanoor, Karinthalam was started in 2018 by the Government of Kerala, in the premises of Kainthalam Paliative Care Society Building. It was the then MP Sri. P. Karunakaran, who took the initiative in beginning the college. The College being affiliated to the University of Kannur was formally inaugurated by the then Chief Ministerof Kerala Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan, on 25th November 2018. Dr. C.Baburaj took over as the first Principal of the college on 09-08-2018. Degree classes in English, Economics and B.Com were started in 2018-19. Steps were taken to speed up the construction work of the proposed new campus at Kollampara, where 20 acres of land had been acquired for this purpose. Prof. Imbichikoya Koutyamakanakam and Smt. Vineetha Mohan joined as teachers in Economics and English Departments.

            As of now the college offers 4 undergraduate courses.
